ILA V sought to locate and assess all IDP and returnee informal settlements and other collective critical shelters across Iraq, and collect basic information such as GPS coordinates, settlement type and shelter type. A more detailed assessment was conducted in sites with >=15 households present. In total, 767 informal settlements were reached and assessed, with the extended questionnaire conducted in 229 informal settlements.
